Living in the Margins
200 plus cyanotype printed muslin sheets approximately 14”x12”each, manipulated negative and positive collaged photographs, installed in layers on 2 gallery walls
People, whose stories tell of lives of displacement, addiction, mental illness, loneliness, and poverty are poignantly told using the photographic process of cyanotype on multi-layered fabric panels. This was a sensitive project, asking for permission to photograph each individual whose portrait I captured. Wide angled shots were captured at a distance.
